Our Mission Statement

  1. To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as near, far, and as often as possible by the grace of God (Matthew 28:18-20). That is to strive to by every honest means, as a church to leave no stone unturned in a continual effort to get the people to the Gospel and the Gospel to the people (I Corinthians 9:22).
  2. To baptize all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and give satisfactory evidence that such is really true. Upon such baptism the candidate thereto shall then be received into the membership of this church (Matthew 28:19; I Corinthians 12:13).
  3. To teach, exhort, and admonish all believers until they, by the Holy Word, are provoked unto living the business of personal soul winning, and have so put on Christ as to have learned the joy of supreme faithfulness to Him and to this church, and have so laid hold upon the truth that they are living lives of constant expectancy in the fulfilling of all His Word (Matthew 28:20).
  4. To train and equip men and women for the work of the ministry, whether their service is to labor here in our area or in another field in some part of the world (Ephesians 4:11-12).
  5. To send and support missionaries (Acts 13:1-2).
  6. To plant local New Testament churches (Titus 1:4).

We believe…..

  • In the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God, and preserved in the King James Bible which is the infallible, inerrant Word of God, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
  • In one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • That the Genesis account of creation is to be accepted literally, not allegorically or figuratively; that man was created directly in God's own image and was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of species; that all animal and vegetable life was made directly, and as God ordained, should bring forth only '' after their kind."
  • That Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of Mary, a virgin, and is true God and true man.
  • That man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is seperation from God and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and, in the case of those who reach the age of moral responsibility, are sinners in thought, word, and deed.
  • That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
  • In the ' Eternal Security ' of the believer: that it is impossible for one born into the family of God to be lost.
  • In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life here as High Priest and Advocate.
  • That the Church of our Lord is a visible, local, self-governing body of believers who have been baptized and that there are only two ordinances: baptism and the Lord's Supper, both of which are administered only to believers.
  • In the literal fulfillment of the prophecies and promises of the Scriptures which foretell and assure the future regeneration and restoration of Israel as a nation.
  • That all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
  • In the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
  • That Jesus Christ is coming again to take His church out of the world, at which time the tribulation begins and will end at His coming to earth to rule and reign for 1,000 years as King of Kings and Lord Of Lords.
